Woohoo weekend wind...and decent tide times. :)
A marathon 4+ hour session at Shoreham. I launched down at the church today
with Guy, Richard and Tim which proved to be a good move as when I sailed
up to Widewater later it was very crowded. Started with 5.2 but that soon
became too big so changed down to 4.5 which was spot on for the whole
afternoon. The waves were a bit sh*t today but the Orgasmatron still
provided plenty of memorable moments, including several vertical lip smacks
and another full-on fin slide-out that was even more "extreme" than the one
at Worthing on Wednesday and left me screaming in amazement as the
thrusters re-engaged. A fair amount of board swapping took place today and
I had a go on Richard's RRD and Rod's Tabou. They both felt like really
nice boards but I think I prefer the Witchcraft. Hmmm should I splash
out...???
